Storyteller | Documentary Director | DOP | Activist

I’m a Franco-Canadian filmmaker specializing in social documentaries, currently living in Barcelona. I’ve always been fascinated by human nature—what drives us, how we connect, and what we fear. This curiosity led me to study Social Sciences in Montreal, and then travel to explore new perspectives that continue to shape my work.

My approach to filmmaking is deeply rooted in my feminist values and activism. I believe in amplifying voices that are often overlooked and telling stories that challenge societal norms. For me, documentaries are a way to capture the unseen—the moments that speak to deeper truths about our shared humanity. Each project is an opportunity to transform these moments into something that creates a real emotional connection and sparks change.

As a director and DOP, I aim to tell authentic, visually powerful stories. My background as a painter influences how I see the world—light, lines, and colors are more than techniques to me; they carry meaning. Art, whether through film, painting, or photography, has the power to reflect, challenge, and ultimately change the world. Documentary filmmaking, in my view, is where these elements come together, with the potential to drive social impact and inspire action.

“I believe the role of the filmmaker is to be the eyes and ears of society, to be a witness to history, and to tell the truth about what is happening, no matter how difficult it is to hear.” – Barbara Kopple
